Today’s makeup look I created for the “Fashion - Office Look” I mixed Illamasqua & Avon together for the models base. And I mixed together two lipstick shades from Grimas to get this colour! On her eyes, I used browns to shape the eye socket and elongate the outer half of her eyes. I used white along the waterline to open the eyes up!

The Drugstore Princess: Some things I've learned about Blush:

drugstoreprincess:

It doesn’t matter what your skintone is, you can wear ANY colored blush… the only thing you have to worry about is how much to apply!

The lighter your skin, the sheerer your blush should be in order to compliment your coloring. You can still wear bright red or coral blush… simply blend it out…

Good tips!

Nothing like a fresh make-up palette calling your name. Beautiful colors.

Would you wear this? I like something  about the picture, but I’m not able to actually visualize myself wearing it. Hmmm…. who knows.

This looks  like a great dress for curvy girls as long as it’s the right size. I think I would have worn a different pair of shoes, though. I like her hair short!

Style.com Reinvents Print with First Publication

Call me old school, but I still love to read print— it’s something about it.

Print is dying; and according to the New York Times, the advent of the digital age is forcing magazines into retail. But homepage to the encumbered fashion intern - or ex-fashion intern as is my case - Style.com is using model Lindsey Wixson’s face to debut its very first print issue! Come Halloween, the aptly named Style.com/Print will be available on news stands and in stores, ushering in a new era of the eternal Fashion Week.
